Travel & Research Grants
The Asia Center at ASU is delighted to announce that it will be offering Taiwan Studies Travel and Research Grants to ASU faculty and graduate students engaged in research on any aspect of Taiwan. The grants are made possible by generous funding from the Taiwan Ministry of Education, and awards of up to $3,000 are available. Funding may be used for costs associated with research-based travel to Taiwan, including airfare, accommodations, materials acquisition, and other approved costs.
Grant applications are due November 15th, 2026 and funding must be used by July 30th. 2027.
Research & Development Grants
The Asia Center at ASU is delighted to announce that it will be offering Taiwan Studies Research and Development Grants to ASU faculty and students (undergraduate or graduate) engaged in research on any aspect of Taiwan. The grants are made possible by generous funding from the Taiwan Ministry of Education, and awards of up to $500 are available. Funding may be used for research-related travel, costs associated with research and presentation, materials acquisition, and other approved costs.
Grant applications are due November 15th, 2026 and funding must be used by July 30th. 2027.
